Well it started when I thought the valve seals were leaking so I ripped the head off and changed them and quiet some time passed before I put it back together. When I started putting it all back together I was to excited to get it running again and didn’t look and see what valves were in what side. I had the intake side in the exhaust side, turns out they are way different. Turns out the valve seals were not leaking and I just had the oil feed off the oil filter housing unrestricted, so i.e I’m a dumbass and put the valves in the wrong side, but live and learn. Just a small update ![http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c180/redvengeapx/DSC02498.jpg](http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c180/redvengeapx/DSC02498.jpg) It was a good day everything was going great, then this picture shown just minutes before failure. Leave the driveway go to shift 2nd and the clutch hit the floor:tdown: Turns out the stock clutch that was in there was completely burned up. I had never seperated the motor and transmission once during this whole process :ham: The car drove fine under very light throttle and I had never gave it to much gas as I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. I bought an Act 2100 street disc and pressure plate and then went to re-install the transmission and broke one of the bell housing bolt holes off. From there I got jerked around about fixing the transmission for about 2.5 months. Got that back finally and the plan was to just roll it into the garage kick it off the jack stand lay under it hope it kills me then set the garage on fire. Again that didn’t go well. I’ve been taking the time this winter and going threw everything once more making sure torque specs are good, tucking away loose wires, and just fixing things I didn’t like. Also going on currently are the Evo calipers front and rear. I’m not so sure of the clearance of the calipers with my rims I had pm’d stealtth since I remember he had the same moda’s to get a little more info and with the insight he had and what I read on 3SI and dsmtuners I should be just making it. A few changes to the setup, I got rid of the garbage gm maf and just went with a recirculating bov to makes things easier. Speed density interested me a bit but I haven’t read enough on it still to be comfortable with it on the car and I doubt the 16g is going to overflow my stock maf. Now I’m just waiting on pads, rotors and ss braided lines to arrive to I can button everything up. Unfortunately, I leave for military duty in March so wherever I go the car is coming with me and I won’t be able to get any good runs in wny. ---

I’m trying to hurry and finish the brake swap on this car before it has to go into storage and I keep running into more and more problems. I have no idea what width or offset these wheels are and turns out the evo calipers don’t clear the spokes so the simple and quick solution for that is now a 5mm hub centric spacer less than a quarter inch looks like all it takes to clear at this point. In the mean time here is how the rest is going and a list of parts used, blew the budget away but it was a mod I really wanted. If I can find a cheaper set of Evo 9 bbs wheels that would be another option. ---

Yeah there bling magic lines, I should have worded it better the pads rotors and lines were all $800 together. As for the battery, I considered it but up front it just makes chasing down those electrical gremlins a lot easier. If I were to do that I’d want to fill the void with probably a catch can and more the fuse box over there. Where and how the box sits kind of annoys me I need to find a better solution. And I’d have nowhere to put my strangled hookers, can’t have them messing around back there ---

Also had to replace my ss braided fuel line, no idea how but it had several leaks in it, guess that’s what I get for leaving the car sit for almost a year. Some changes still need to be made, the intake set the piping lower so my recirc tube doesn’t reach anymore. Ordered a new pipe since I’ve change it from a gm maf to the stock and from vent to recirc. Now I’m just debating what coilovers to get. ---
