Girl at Sears: You should buy this $50 dollar HDMI cable. Unlike most, it’s not just gold on the ends, it’s gold the entire length of the cable. Me: So what? The purpose of gold plating is to avoid corrosion at the terminals. Girl at Sears: :uhh: That’s it. I’m quitting praxair. I’m going to market $20k audio cables filled with “high speed electrons” and “zero induction straight runs”. ---
