i am posting this for my Gf’s grandfather. He has a 99 Grand Marquie(or how ever you spell it) and they bought it with 10k on it off some lady. Well for the past 4 years everything has worked fine with the Remote Car Starter. i guess it was installed from ford. Well they went to florida for a whole winter and the battery died in the car. Now they got a new one/charged that one up and the RCS will not start the car @ all. it will lock/Unlock the doors but that is it. there is no instructions on the RCS so they have no clue what to do. if anyone can tell me what the problem is or how to fix it lemme know… ---

pic of remote? certain systems have certain problems usually… so knowing brand/model would help ---

does it even want to try to start ? check the tach/voltage sensor first. ---

need to know what kind of remote start it is. It definitely isn’t a ford remote start. ---
