Okay whuts the best way to do this? im getting a newer hatch…and there is some wiring involved… I would like to know the best and easiest way to do this. thanx ---

whatever you do don’t slice the wires and then reconnect them when installing(rear defog wires are a bitch, wire within a wire) The moulding where the hatch meets the roof needs to be pulled, it just snaps out. Disconnect the wiring harness inside the hatch and and pull it out the gromet at the top. Disconnect the shocks, and then the 4 bolts holding on the hatch. Have sombody there to catch that sucker cause it a pain to try and catch the thing from inside the car. hace fun ---
