# Replacing odometer cable?

What is the easiest place to disconnect an S-10’s odometer? I don’t think it’s working right so I want to replace it. How is it even worked? I never really looked into it much. I’d prefer to stop it reporting to the ECU and the gauge cluster if possible. I’m just not familiar with it. 96 S-10 4.3 2wd. Anyone?

u dont have a cable,u need to check or clean pick up u tail shaft of tran ,1 10mm bolt
