NOTE: I wrote thid post up real quick so I will be editing it in the new few days so as to make it official (SON Admin/Mods, feel free to edit this to suit our needs): Our previous site, our “Rides of the month” failed horribly. It had to be manually updated and because of that, it didn’t quite work out. Resulting in a ride of the month turning into a “Ride of the few months” :ugh: I’ve been re-doing our site and making it more dynamic and more easily maintainable because it will basically run off our forum content/database. So as a request, I am asking people to send in the following to be eligible for Rides of the month/moment (we haven’t quite figured out whether we want to do it on a monthly basis or a bi-weekly). If you don’t have access to a camera, I have a high-res digital camera I can borrow (along with tripod) so if anyone wants to have a photoshoot, you are more then welcome to arrange a time on a weekend with me. I can probablly find a few good locations in and around Brampton/Mississauga. I will not drive outside of Brampton/Mississauga. Sorry. You don’t have to be a professional to take pictures. It’s basically all in the angle. For some inspiration on how to get the right angle, visit: [http://www.aznkid.com](http://www.aznkid.com) Or you can just hire Mike Luc (aka AznKid) to take kick-ass pictures for you. 🙂 **Prep Work** Wash, wax, vacuum, polish your car up to the best you can. Keep it clean and professinal to the best you can. **Image Submission** Up to 6, 10, or 12, 14 pictures (no more no less). High-res JPEG images only (1024x768 or higher). Absolutely no phone-cam pics. :squintnono: As a safe guide, try to get the following pictures: - Front - Side - Rear - 3/4 Angle - Engine bay - Power adder - Suspension - Wheels/tires - Brakes - Interior - Special mod shot - Motion/action/artsy **Month** Pick a month you wish your car to appear in. If you don’t pick a month, you will be randomly assigned one. This is on a first-come first serve basis. **NOTE:** September 2005 is reserved for me because I can do that :thefinger: **Questionaire** Please try to answer these questions as best as you can when you submit your ride: 1 - Who are you (a little background). 2 - How did you hear about SON? 3 - What do you like about SON? 4 - What year, make, model is your car? 5 - What mods have you done? 6 - What mods are you most proud of and why? 7 - What mods do you plan to do in the upcoming months and why? 8 - What is your goal with your car? 9 - Any further comments? **Who to submit to?** E-mail everything to: gautam@son240sx.ca ---

lol, it didn’t fail because it had to be manually updated (took 3 minutes to add a new car), it failed baceuse NOBODY SUBMITTED THEIR CARS. ---

A lot of people have a “my car aint good enuff” mentality, and that’s why they don’t submit them. I think we should have a thread where we nominate and then vote for a car of the month. I nominate Sasha’s car. Gawd damn… sooooo hawt… ---

I dont know what people are afraid of, this is a great way to express your acomplishments show us what youve got, some great pics, maybe a nice writeup… This isnt some cheap car mag, as long as its not a bone stock 240sx i think its good to go ! so lets get some volunteers this isnt that hard and would add a great section to the forum !! ---

Hell even if it is “bone stock”, who cares. As long as it’s a clean car both inside and out it would still make a nice picture. It would also be nice to see as the person may have big plans for the car and we see it from start to finish. Now I know we ALL know what a stock car looks like but remember, stock or not it’s still someone’s pride and joy and they have the right to post it up. I’ll post up pic’s either after my frontend is fixed up or after that and my turbo is installed. Take care guys. Easy 8) ---

Our site is looking very professional and so is our forum and status as a car club so we I’d hate to make anyone look bad but Im gonna get picky about the kind of pictures people will send. I basically want good angled, clear, clean pics. If you have to practice, do so and if you take pics, take lots and send as much as you can and let me (or others in the club decide which to pick). ---
