My battery light recently came on on my dash. Thought it was time for a new battery anyways, so I changed it.

However, my battery light is still on after I put in the new one. Do I have to reset the computer to get the light to turn off? Or am I experiencing another kind of problem?

Not hard to do yourself, and most new alternator’s come with an installation guide anyways.

But since you’re asking, I’m presuming your mechanical know-how is not so great, sooo, if you’re not sure about it, have someone who knows help out or have it done professionally.
