More info on this idea please. I am in regardless. I love good food.
If you want to go to several restaurants with a group of people and do a tasting at each or something, I can totally work that out.

Went to Butterwoods (inside Hotel Lafayette) for lunch. Overpriced and the service was very slow… pizza was very average but the crab bisque was delicious. Didnt try the desserts, im not really into sweets.

I think we should pick a place first, get the price from them, including grat, and get a bunch of people to pre-pay and prearrange the date and just roll with it and see how it goes.
A Mike A’s or Tempo would be an awesome one to start with. Alcohol should be separate pay.

Butterwoods specializes in desserts though. That’s like going to a BBQ place and getting salad, lol.

Probably not difficult for a Thursday. I made same day reservations for a Friday in the early fall, and only had to adjust my desired time by a half hour or so.

It’s not hard to get into Carmelos went there a number of times same day reservations with a pretty large party each time.

Good choice. I always hear mixed opinions on Mothers but I have never had a bad experience. Although last I was there the girl at a table next to me was texting the entire time. I felt bad for her man. Remember folks when out on a fine dining date/experience act with some class. Save the texting for a date to McDonalds and try on stimulating conversation for a change.

Yeah, same. I’ve heard a lot of bad things from people but I have always had great food and great service.
I feel you on the phone thing. Next time you are out anywhere, take a moment to check how many people are on their phones… terrible.
