The point is that while you can immediately point the finger and blind rage at the “towelheads”, the point remains that it was not unprovoked. There is a reason that terrorists are not bombing canada. Canadians and americans share many things. The differences in race, geography, religion are all very minute, however, there is one glaring difference. Attitude of the government and it’s people. While i do not agree with the actions of a select few mid-eastern peoples (terrorists), i also do not agree with a select few americans, many of whom are running the country. Making a statement such as i have is akin to denouncing terrorism, but it puts some of the blame on our shoulders. It hurts to look in the mirror and feel ashamed. It’s much much easier to extend my hand and blame someone thousands of miles away, and it’s even easier to do when they are different than I. ---
