can all the guys who gave some answers, can you pm me names and numbers of companies that worked for you
im currently with easyway broker and they wont touch it at all, even when i suggested noridc
in the past ive done the vin switch route, but that takaes wayyy to much time with the mto.
i need isnurance ready within 2 weeks
you guys would really be helping me out of a bind

When I was looking at buying a RHD, I was told by every place that I called that they either will not do it, or they will only do it if I am an existing customer. So your best bet will always be whoever you are currently with.

Not true, I’ve been with Johnson Insurance for 3 years. My parents have been with them for over 10 years and they would not insure my 180.
I spoke to my broker and we got through to Economical. First time customer, no hassles, no problems.
All they wanted was a PICTURE of my 180. I sent them a phone pic I took off my blackberry and they said it was perfect. I got my slip 2 days later in the mail, and everything’s been good since.

nordiq worked great and got a good quote
phillip youngs also does jdm vins with no problems, but they were more expensive then nordiq

I have a friend who’s with Nordiq now and is getting raped by them for his 300. It’s only slightly more than what hes paying for his winter beater 240.

but there initial quote for a 93 tt supra, whic im sure they used retail for, was surprising to me.

my appraisal is coming at no cost to me, i’m satisfied either way
i have a shit record too, so since nordiq is high risk or grey market, its cheaper then the low risk agencies i got quotes from.

anybody looking for people who will do short vins try
philip youngs and philip youngs insurance
joe massuchi and sound insurance
they will do them, they work with some of the importers in the area
