It was a “viral video” created to promote our annual Imagine RIT festival. I hate to break it to anyone who fell for it, but a theoretical concept classified as “impossible art” is not actually a staircase at RIT 😛

Actually, reading the comments on that post are quite funny, people trying to guess how it was done. There are no twins, and no “wires and mirrors” in the video, hah. I love the internet.

So here’s the fatal flaw…if the stairs keep “repeating” how did they get into that area? doesn’t appear to be a door. But yeah, architecturally speak, it’s impossible to create this.

Meh, there are nicer staircases, architecturally speaking, but that is pretty bad ass. I would like to visit RIT some day.
