# Roadtrip to LA.....

Packin the car and heading to LA for the weekend, anyone have any recs of things i should make it a point of seeing/doing while im there, never been there myself, gonna be staying in North Hollywood while im there…

4-5 days in the car for 2 days in LA?
Route 1 in a decent car is a must. If it’s the only thing you do. DO IT.

We’ve all done the road trips that take more time in the car then is spent at the destination.

I wouldn’t mind taking a 2 week trip from here to LA and back making a ton of stops along the way.
cost more in gas than anything else tho.

North Hollywood is pretty ghetto so watch out for the Mexicans.
Depends on what you like… Its a pita to go anywhere decent except to pay $20-30 for parking any where you go.
But in the Valley check out Sherman Oaks, Studio City… City Walk at Universal is pretty cool. A lot of restaurant/bars there.
Stay out of south centeral lol.
Goto West LA, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Century City, Westwood. Westwood is where all the college whores are at so id check that place out.
For classy places check out West Hollywood on sunset. Boa, Skybar, Privilege and Social.
Boa is walk in , but the rest you have to be on the guest list or a 3-1 girl/guy ratio. Cover is about $20-30 and drinks are about $12-$15 a pop.
Hollywood is pretty dirty, its not that great once you get there… I mean hollywood blvd and highland has all the billboards and crap but stay on hollywood blvd and dont venture any where else.

So Cal is full of Mexicans, period.
But yeah, North Hollywood is not all that great a place…
I’d also vote for checking out the beach… Santa Monica Pier is fun.
Get a fish taco from some shady looking Mexican place, so you know it’s authentic.
Check out downtown LA, tell me if the guy is still there with no legs and one arm riding around on a skateboard washing windshields.
Around now people probably have a lot of Christmas lights up too…we always had a good time driving around the richer parts of the area looking at their ridiculous displays.
And all the slutty girls go to UC San Diego, so hit that place up too.
