From what I have read, Rochester’s “Student’s for a Democratic society” group had a protest to pull troops out of Afghanistan. They spilled into the streets, blocked a fire truck on a call, and 37 police cruisers pull up. 12 arrests, 2 needing medical attention. [http://www.blip.tv/file/2695340](http://www.blip.tv/file/2695340) Too much or just enough? I don’t think the means they used was unnecessary, but 37 units responding was a little excessive. ---

This just popped up on another local forum as well. you need to have a permit to do shit like that, i bet they did not have it. It is for the safety of people who work and travel through the area, that these shit heads don’t clog up the streets. I did not see one thing that looked like police brutality. These retards chanting and trying to piss off the cops, and stop them from doing there job need a solid ass kicking. oh and what the fuck does a gay pride flag have to do with anti war demo? I say all these fucking twats get lined up and punished like people do in the middle east for getting out of line… oh wait this is America, your home and the country you HATE. GTFO! ---

the stupid thing for me was that they made it 85% of the way through downtown… if the police had just left them alone they would have been in the ghetto in 5 minutes and the problem would have resolved itself. ---
