I guess sometimes its just frustrating… I don’t personally flip out on people because of what they have, but it is tough sometimes seeing a fuckin 16 year old kid in a 40k+ car whereas I work my balls off to comfortably own a decent civic and a daily driver. At the end of the day, it is what it is, good people are good people ---

I never got any kind of handouts like cars, money, etc. My parents did help me get loans or loan me money when I needed it but I always had to pay them back. Sure wouldve been nice to have been born into money or able to work in a prosperous family business but unfortunately I wasnt born into money and nobody in my family owns a business like that. Ive gotta work my ass off for everything me and the bank own and it definately sucks busting my ass and still being broke at the end of the week. ---

I’ll admit I was spoiled rotten, car, college, etc being paid for. But guess what? I started my own business 2 years ago with my own money I had been saving from working crap jobs. 70-80 hours per week, no life, no financial security. It didn’t have to be that way. I could have taken money from my family and slid right through, but I didn’t. People are people no matter how much money they have. The problem is, the more money you have the more attention you get. Mostly negative, and that is what people focus on. ---

Mostly negative, and that is what people focus on.** IMO, you’re less likely to find that “Negative Stigma” on people who worked there way up from nothing to something… I’ve met a handful of wealthy people and you would never know the difference… On the flip side, the ones who are spoiled and ACT spoiled are usually those who are getting the negative attention. I’m not saying you fit the bill, just what I’ve seen. ---

Number one, I have watched you @ LVD and you are just breaking into the 12s. Number two, stock C5 Z06’s can get low 12s on street tires with a driver that isn’t drooling on themselves between shifts. Its kind of a rite of passage though for most of us in our 20’s, I know Im living beyond my means and theres little I can do about it at the moment. Its whats sets us up to be the people we will be in the future financially. Hell I drop probably 200-300 a month on cigars and another 100-200 a month on booze, I have developed very expensive tastes. Its all going to come to an end soon though and Im dreading the day. Luckily Im only 23 and realizing my shortcomings early. The thing Ive learned is that one is never too young to make big moves in life. One doesnt have to be college educated or born with a silver spoon in their mouth to make serious financial moves even at a young age.
