i want to move onto a bigger set of BBK. bought these from a owner who used it for 2000km and took them off stored the rotor in a upside position gravity caused the rotor to warped over time rotors should be stored flat on the ground, i had it machined lasted last summer it was great near the end of summer it gave up and warped again.

This is strange…are you sure it isn’t the suspending hardware that is now bad because of laying them like that? Are you sure they were broken in correctly? I highly doubt you are going to warp that disc just from storing like that. I would grab a height gauge and measure the clips - maybe that’s all you need - just a recommendation.

Yes, the clips that enable the rotor to ‘float’ suspending it from the hat. If they were upside down, like you said, the weight of the rotor may have compressed the clips, as opposed to the rotor itself warping under it’s own weight. Just a thought - you are right, they should have been stored rotor down, either way.
