Uhh, if you’re making 500whp before 400whp and rev to 7k+…I’d think you’d be north of 600whp.

If im not mistaken, the twins deliver a nice linear power band. No crazy rocketship power.

Even the 30R powered 996’s are still pretty flat across the board. It’s almost like driving a really high power NA car. Nothing like the old beast 930/965 single turbos which give you that awesome “oh shit ass end is coming out 911 feel” :lol
I’d be downright surprised if it doesn’t make 600+, especially with injection…

Yea, thats the way to do it really, I would build a 996 the same way.

theres nothing to be “irked” about. there are fail-safes that will put u at wastegate pressure if the meth fails. no worries

I disagree, there is a lot of worries. Countless times I’ve read about engines being blown from it not working, etc. But I think it really is about what failsafes are present.
What’s the cost of meth?

Use methanol are a backup with slight increases in timing and you’re fine. Using it as a pure performance gain and there’s always a chance something can fail. I typically use it more for the cooling affect, rather than the increase in octane it offers(allowing increase timing adavnce).
VP M-1 floats around $40 for five gallons. I’ll typically run 3:1 meth/water ratio for street cars. Most systems can’t handle much more of a concentration than that without part degredation over time.

Even the fail safes are not that great as they don’t always react fast enough but are better than nothing. Most work of diminished flow and open a solenoid to reduce boost to wasteagate preload. however if it happens under a pull, detonation happens quicker than boost response through a series of lines and solenoids.
Aquamist \> all other marketed injection
Aquamist double to cost of all other marketed injection :lol (worth the cost though)
