# Rumble

So i have a rumble comming from the back of my car at around 2500RPM. which is really annoying because i usually cruise at that RPM. i think it is the exhaust. what do you suggest? tighten up the fasteners on the exhaust or is it something to do with vibrations in the muffler itself? its a stock exhaust with magnaflow muffler.

Edit: its been happening ever since i bought the car (with the muffler) but has gotten worse lately.

With your car running, you should go underneath the car and see if there is a leak at any of the flange points. Also, check for any cracks in the muffler at the seams if there isn’t a hole that you can see. If that doesn’t explain it, then perhaps your muffler is messed up internally.
