What I’m talking has to be different rendering codecs/etc. I’m not doing a lot of 3Dmax/etc stuff, most of mine is Pro/E and Solidworks.

My biggest thing is real-time shading/low-end rendering for modeling; when doing the models I’m dealing with, I notice a HUGE difference in how the PC works with different cards. With my 8600GT; I’d open a model and to go from Shaded to a hidden wireframe would take upwards of 30-40 seconds; and rotating a hidden wireframe model was a nightmare, might as well just click, move your mouse and walk away. With the FX4500, it’s almost instantaneous.
