edit… stupid image… umm, I really don’t see the point in this much space… i had my near TB box, and i couldn’t fill it… I really think they should focus on increasing read and write speeds instead of making them 901238012807123gb. speed \> capacity ---

I want to see the life span of these bigger drivers…seems like your squishing more data into a smaller physical space more likely hood for issues. ---

if anyone wants a 500gb hard drive, my roommate might have one he’d selling for $225. it really is quite useful to have that much space. i can easily fill 2-300 gb worth of space. ---

I think I’d wait, though. The more platters, the more heat problems it’ll have, not to mention stiction if you actually ever turn it off. Wait a year or two until they produce a two platter drive with 1TB of capacity. ---
