if you are replacing quaters there are other ways to go about doing it than welding. the most common way i have seen is using a 2 part adhesive process. much easier and in my _opinion_ better, there is NO warping or burn through on the metal. which makes for a much more accurate panel replacement.

post more info and maybe i can help.
accident? rust fix? flares? old or new panels?
