If you guys look at the picture, the motor is outside of the garage in the pics during/after the fire. FFS. ---

I’m actually debating on plus repping mk4 for that find :wow It ties up some loose ends and gives a definite probable cause. ---

A guy on bimmerforums had a set of ACS Type-1 replicas stolen off of his car. They go for 1800-2k in perfect shape. Insurance company couldn’t value them appropriately, so they contacted whatever company makes/made ACS wheels and asked how much it would take to replicate a new set. $5k. That’s what they gave him. If his insurance covers those 20" gold plated ronals, they will fetch a shit ton of bank.
