What in this thread makes you think he is going to have a timing light to check for spark? Just pull the plug out, leave it connected to the wire and crank it while holding it against your tongue. ---

Check to make sure your MAP sensor is plugged in, crank angle sensors are plugged in and then de-flood (remove leading plugs, pull EGI fuse and crank a few times) ---
