# S-10 problems

i have a 2000 chevy s10 with the 4.3. when i was driving home from work friday at rush hour my truck started to lose power then died. i pull off 400 and tried starting it a dozen times with nothing, then it started idled all over the place and shut off it happened a few times then it would start idle but as soon as i gave it gas it shut off. i put a new filter on and checked my fuel pressure which is around 62. i’m lost as to where to look now any help would be great

Sounds like the fuel pump might be shitting bed. I’ve heard of them working on and off before they die.

seems to be arching from the engine ignition control mod from the wire the goes to the distributor but not sure how to fix def not fuel pump
