# S10 open hood

I went to open my hood on the s10 and the cable broke right at the latch , what do i , do now to pop the hood open ? Gueess i ll have to tak the grill off and try to get it open that way?? never had this problem before!!

sounds bout right… gotta get up under there and grap the latch manually and open it that way

this kid opened my camaro hood from underneath the car once… never did figure out exactly how he got his arm up under there and grap the latch to open my hood

just grab the cable with a pair of vice grips, or if you mean it broke by the latch on the hood why don’t you just replace it

Haha, you said reach around… Anyways, just gotta do it manually, this has happened to me more times that I’d consider normal.
