im looking to do a fan swap in my car. I have the stock belt driven fan in my car now, and looking to get an electric fan, has anyone done this? what are the measurments for something like that, or if anyone has any tips/tricks they would like to share, that would also be appreciated

can i ask why you want to do this?
i have done it and there is no gain what so ever, only thing i realised were that my electronic fans stopped working one day and i overheated, and at the track they dont compare to belt + shroud. half the time its not even spinning anyway, i just hope you have logical reasons to take it out, not to get .25 hp

i nice pair of flexalites work far better than a clutch fan…
after beating the hell out of my fc all weekend on gatineau muntain… and never seeing the temp go above 1/4 hot… i know they work.

i didnt read those links but i just wired up the little electric fan thats built in to come on…never overheated (or even come close) yet.

flexlite a freaking expensive,.
performance had them for $100 off so umm that was $450 plus tax
