# s13 Fog light conversion

Hey… I wanna run an 800 series fog light instead of those crappy 1156 bulbs and I was wondering if the wattage coming out of the orignal harness would be enough to power the brighter light? In a nut shell i wanna run brighter daytimers while keeping the stock lens… thanks all

i was wondering about this too, the regular DRL’s are to bulky for me.
on the other hand if i got half-clears could i wire them to be my DRL’s?

i mean use the clear part of the half clears as DRL’s and the keep the orange part as the turn signals or can i even do this at all.

seems hard to do…is there only one bulb in the half clears?

No, there is 2 bulbs, 1 for turn signal and 1 for parking light.

k… I played around with an old set of fog lights and i spliced my wirig harness for my DRLs and attached it and they work plenty bright… All i’m gonna do is take my old llenses and retro fit the new lights to keep the stock look. I just hope they don’t get that hot…
