# S13 Seat Replacement

After enough commuting to Toronto i found that the s13 seat can be incredibly uncomfortable at times.
Im looking to replace it with something that has/is:
- Lots of lumbar support
- Cups my ass and keeps it locked in
- Reclinable
- Preferably leather or synthetic
- relatively inexpensive
- really cushy
So really im looking for something similar to a high quality stock seat that is extremely comfortably and great for long trips.

in my opinon S14 seats are a pretty good upgrades to the stockers, there also other options like s15, gtr seats but i have no personal experience with them.

S14 seats are great upgrade from stockers but although my 180sx seat looks very similar it holds much better in the corners because of the fabric used. Leather seats are just for looks and will never hold you as well as the fabric upholstered ones.

Ive always thought the s14 seats looked pretty comfortable. Hows the lumbar support on them, thats my biggest issue.

Have you ever sat in S14 seats?
I used to commute from B.dot to T.dot in my S14. I had more issues with my knees not being able to stretch. The S14 seats are fairly comfy.

ya the cloth ones. cant remember what it was like though. i go from barrie to toronto a lot too and the s13 seats just aint cuttin’ it.

the s13 leathers get quite hard and have a weird contour around the lower back area that gets kind of brutal for long trips i find. i upgraded to s14 cloth and i don’t think i can ever go back to s13 anything now.
s13 vs. s14
there’s more bolstering, cloth holds you in 100x better than s13 leather, lower back/lumbar area is shaped better (at least for me it is). bang for the buck wise i think you should give these a shot if you’re looking for long distance comfort.

^^plus cloth doesn’t get as hot or cold compared to leather in summer/winter. i agree with adam’s13, leather’s more for the looks…

R32 GTR seats fit me like a glove. Everyone that rides in the care comments on hold of the seats.

Yah I like r32 seats too. Very comfortable and pretty cheap
