Driving whatever you want as long as it’s nissan is what were about. But nobobody knows how to defeat the SR ECU speed limiter short reprogramming or speed limit defencer. ---

You could always install a carburated big block chevy engine. That doesn’t require a computer to run. 😃 Might affect the handling slightly though… 🙂 Course, that didn’t stop a few guys from installing a 5.0 in a 2nd gen RX-7. ---

I got all you gusy beat. My civic has a 1.8 N/A with low compression pistons for a turbo and without hiting v-tec in 5th I am already doing 200. Thats at 5 grand and redline is 8. Take that. I still have 3 grand to go so I bet it will do 250. I would never go that fast. car will prob bounce off the road. ---

I did the math allen…if thats correct, at redline (assuming you had the power) you would be doing 320 km/h. ---

Doesn’t sound like he has enough stickers on the car to go up that high, but thanks for doing the math. 😉 Besides, a civic in Lethbridge’d be lucky to stay on the road and not be blown off into a freakin’ pasture by the nasty crosswinds. 😃 ---

You think your Skyline is hot? Try racing my McLaren, BIOTCH! 😃 Ok, well, I don’t really have a McLaren - but if I did…you’d all go down. But not in the car, you might wreck the upholstery. :E I did a bit of digging tonight, and bench raced as stock the Spec V is slightly faster than the 240: Year, Model, 0-60, 1/4 Mile 1991 Nissan 240SX SE 7.9 16.1 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V 7.3 15.6 Now, the only chance a Spec has to beat a 300ZX Turbo is if it is an automatic and the auto somehow gets a bad launch…(like, we might as well say never) 1991 Nissan 300ZX Turbo(auto) 7.0 15.4 Any Manual transmissioned 300ZX pretty much lays a beating on the Spec, with the best being: 1993 Nissan 300ZX Turbo 5.2 13.8 As for the Skyline, well, I imagine that’d be pretty ugly too. well yesturday i got my car u to 192km at 5500rpms. but it didnt want to go any higher and i got scared but i stayed at that speed for a split second so maybe i can go higher. ---

The only limiter I hate on the SPEC is the REV limiter. It’s really great that it shuts your fuel off too shortly there after. :roll: As for speed… well I have had mine buried on a 140 mph speedo. I realize there is some inaccuracy at that speed but it still had pull. The SPEC V is gearing limited at 150-something mph. Here’s a little East Coast Vid… I don’t quite bury it here, but there are some runs there where I’m at 130 mph. Playing with a friend of mine in a Teg. You don’t see him much though.
