# s13 spoiler replacement

Hey guys,
I have a '91 240sx and my spoiler has rusted the hatch right trough. I can lift the foam and stick my hand in there. So I got a replacement hatch (with no spoiler) from Avery and I plan on hooking that up this weekend.
My problem is that I really like the way a s13 looks with a stock spoiler. I am no fan of huge wings, but without the spoiler the car looks like its missing something.
Does anyone know where I can get a spoiler that matches as close as possible to the stock one but it wouldn’t start rusting my new(er) hatch? If anyone has seen anything online please send links.

The below site has a “wangan” style wing that is a similar style but a fair bit larger…that’s all I got…worth a look but may be too big for your tastes.

:shock: Oh no … tooo big!!! …
the car with the RPS kit on that page has a decent low spoiler. Although its not exactly what I am looking for, its the best I have seen.
EDIT: … dammit… the top spoiler on that car looks good too.

if your really good you can trim the one off an NX2000 pulsar, to fit. its a plastic (not faom) spoiler with a streamline low profile.
Not the easiest to do though

i noticed my friend has a 97 neon RT and the spoiler on that looks nearly identical but it doesnt sit right on the trunk

thats what I meant by trimming, but then again, some of my good friends/relatives do body work and like challenges

Yeah I have been looking all over the net, half of the time you cannot tell what the spoiler will look like on the car and the other half the time you get inundated with HUGE wings.
Anyone know where is a good place to look in Mississauga/Brampton/Toronto?

Have a black spoiler in really good condition at my place in guelph I work in Brampton around airport and 407. The previous owner of my car did some stuff to stop the rusting. Let me know if interested

Don’t.
Anyone here will tell you it’s the absolute worst thing you can do to your car. There’s a nice lip for about 6 bills if you want it, ask Bruce (sidewaze) about it.
