# s13 sr tranny

use a ka tranny shorter gearing  
just swap bellhousings

Only difference between a KA/SR Tranny is the Reverse Gearing which plays no part in the over all gearing. So, no a KA does not have shorter gearing…

The CA18 has the shorter gearing (5th gear & final drive due to the diff)

CA18DET from a 88-90

1st - 3.321  
2nd - 1.902  
3rd - 1.308  
4th - 1.000  
5th - 0.838

reverse - 3.382  
final drive - 4.363

SR20DET from 90-93

1st - 3.321  
2nd - 1.902  
3rd - 1.308  
4th - 1.000  
5th - 0.759

Reverse - 3.382  
Final Drive - 4.083

1989-1998 240sx

1st 3.321  
2nd 1.902  
3rd 1.308  
4th 1.000  
5th 0.759

Reverse 3.657  
Final Drive 4.083

I have a CA18DET tranny for sale if you’re interested… I believe this requires a bellhousing swap as well.
