# s13 transmission parts in a s14???

been searching to see if the KA24DE transmission parts from the s13 will bolt up to an s14. i know if they’re both ka24de motors the tranny will b good but what about the clutch assembly? are there any other parts that can’t be used from each generation?

The only issue is the later S14 … 97-98 I think?
They have a speed sensor in the bellhousing, so the clutch is different.
The cases may be different lengths S13-14, but the internals should interchange.

should be good to go however; the S14 speed sensor won’t be of any use to your S13 guage,

I put a 95 KA tranny in my 91 coupe. I siliconed (Chris - candiandrifter240sx’s advice) the ODBC sensor hole… Works fine…

things that must be s14 specific
- drive shaft
- speed sensor
Things that you can modify to work but i would advise just get s14 parts
- brake and clutch pedal
just to let you know you still will need throw out bearing ect ect. But those 2 parts must be s14 specific but i would use all 3 as i did for my swap. everything else is usable including the s13 hardline/softline
