Im looking to get rid of my s14 kouki VLSD for an s13 open diff, but i have ABS, so do i need and ABS diff from s13 even if i dont use ABS currently, but my car IS and ABS equip car ? i google’d as much as i could and couldnt find the right answer. if i can use the non ABS diff i have one already but if i need ABS, than i will be looking for one asap - ---

If you car has abs, then you need an abs diff. If you use a non-abs diff the your driveshaft will come up about 1 inch or more short, and you’ll need to get a non abs s13 driveshaft. This is all assuming the car itself is a s13, i m not to sure for s14. So if you have abs car, then get abs diff or get a non abs diff and non abs driveshaft. hope that helps. ---

Back from the dead - Why the hell cant i find an open diff for my ABS S14 to weld!!!
