# s14/ s13 Generation and Coupe / FB part swapping

there would be no logic in making parts different between an s13 coupe and FB but I’d like to make sure since I’m no 240sx guru
there’s no differences between S13 coupe and FB from a drivetrain stand point? I’m ripping the guts out of a 91’ FB w/ hicas and swapping it into a 92’ coupe no hicas (auto to manual Swap)
Also are S14-240sx and S13-240sx brake calipers interchange? or would I need the whole hub assembly?
Also the major break points for engines changes

As for front windshields of S13 theres the normal glass and the HUD windshield with the reflective plastic sheet inside the glass… the normal windshield can always have a piece of tint placed in the same sport and will work just as well?

Drive trains are the same, watch out for ABS vs no-ABS drive shafts are different lenghts, Auto vs 5 speed drive shafts have different front yokes.
HICAS vs non-HICAS diff rear covers are different but interchangable.

Rear brakes all appear to be interchangable, though I’ve heard there are two different bore sizes (by 1mm?).

97-98 I believe.

Non HUD windshield seesm to work fine even without the special patch.

i used an s13 rear brake torque member (the caliper holding bracket w/slider pins) and have been running them on my stock 95 calipers for over a year now, no problems yet. i’ve also used an s13 master cylinder, but i am going to rebuild it tomorrow (its leaking, might be my fault though).
