Will the S14 SR20DET tranny bolt up to the S13 SR20DET with no modification? If so, why would one do this? alittle stronger? How hard is it to find a S14 tranny seperatly? I saw it done as was just curious, thanks guys. One more question, will any other trannies bolt up to the S13 SR20DET with little/no modification? ---

One more question, will any other trannies bolt up to the S13 SR20DET with little/no modification? yes, all sr20det trannies bolt up to sr blocks. all fs5w71c should work as long as you have an sr bellhousing. None are noticeably stronger. ---

If they aren’t stronger, then whats the purpose? For fun? haha ---

I didnt think there was any diffrence between the s13 and s14 trannys. ---

You could always go with the s15 sr20det tranny, it is 6 speed. if you can find one. it’ll be expensive though. ---
