# S15 SR20DET 6 Spd to 5 Spd

Guys, which 5MT transmission would go better with the S15 SR…apparently S15 trannies are kinda delicate…

They are only delicate with higher HP applications… but then again so is the 5spd

If it’s not broke - don’t fix it.

You will need an S15 rear pumkin as well if you plan on using the S15 6spd as the Speed sensor is in the diff on the S15. Unless you have one of the harder to find s15 6spds with the speed sensor on the tranny.

I used to have an S15 6spd tranny when i had my KA… too bad it’s gone now. ☹
