_ **WARNING FACTORY RICE AHEAD** _

There, thats should keep the post about the big wings to a minimal. That said its pretty cool to see Honda and Nissan build more track orientated models of their RWD cars.

> Honda builds a track toy as a retirement gift to its most revered engineer, and you can buy a copy.

“The result of these changes is a claimed two-second reduction in the S2000 CR’s lap time around Honda’s Tochigi test track. That’s a huge difference; you could add 50 horsepower to a regular S2000 and you might not see your lap time drop that much.”

> Macho NISMO improves handling and, depending on your taste, styling—but adds no power.

"It’s, um, rather easy to tell the NISMO Z from the stock model, thanks to a downright shocking aero package featuring an aggressive front fascia with a racing-style chin spoiler, smoothed front corners, skinny fender lips, and side skirts. In back, it gets worse, with an obnoxious rear fascia with a functional air diffuser (how could something that big not be functional?) and, of course, a double-decker rear wing.

Performance improvements for the NISMO Z include a lowered suspension, Brembo brakes, a NISMO exhaust, and super-sexy NISMO gray five-spoke forged-alloy wheels (9.0-by-18-inch front, 10.0-by-19-inch rear) wearing Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires."

Given all the OEM tune options Nismo offers for the Z, I wonder what they used to justify that rediculous aero package. Performance-wise Nismo isn’t know for half-stepping.

I can almost stand the front end and wing on the Z, but gawdam is that rear diffuser aweful! The s2k does nothing for me either styling wise.

Yea I knew the wings would due this thread in haha. I don’t think I’d mind the S2000 as much if they had gone with different colors other than a pastel blue outside and yellow accented inside. hayabusa03rx does have a point that aero parts are proven on S2000’s by lots of tuners. Anywho, two cars I should let loose here I didn’t post originally.

Lotta ugly stuff coming out…Though I’ve always liked the Impreza and who can possibly argue with something that says M on it?

like the s2k but they need some better colors, curious what the price will be. I went to a dealer the other day to ask them about it and the best answer I got was that it wont be out till '09 so i just kinda chuckled to myself and left.
