Sweet. He is the only Sabre from last year that I don’t carry about. Gives other guys the chance to step it up.

i have to admit, i HATED pyatt throghout the entire regular season. but, he was one of the hardest working players during the playoffs and i was kinda hoping hed carry that into next season.
being excited about losing ANY players this year is fucking stupid. that was the stanley cup winning team. now the formula is being all switched around. guess we just have to wait and see.

well, all i know is having the amount of forwards we currently have is useless… i would much rather see guys like pomminville, roy, gaustad, and vanek get icetime than taylor pyatt… which is why i think the trade for a pick is appropriate in this situation.

9 mair
10 hecht

13 vanek
14 novotny
14 forwards named off the top of my head - you can only dress 12 of them, and only 9 of them will get consistent topline icetime… this is exactly why this move cut dead weight out, it certainly didnt get us dead weight in return…
