well they said they would send it in the mail, so he did not get “arrested”… unless the franchise says he cannot play… I don’t see it effecting him for the NY game.

Good. As much as I think he is a complete moron for getting arrested, I don’t want the Steelers to lose this weekend. Maybe I just have messed up priorities :steelers:

I agree… but hey man… everyone has a life they live, especially when they are out of the spotlight, like these guys. I could care less if they blow coke all week long… as long as they show up on Sundays! Its none of our business what they do in their off time, IMO. Steelers FTW :steelers:

So, the NFL isn’t going to suspend him for violating the substance abuse policy? I am not saying he is a thug, and honestly I don’t care what he does in his spare time. It’s sad that Nate W. is now his replacement for a big game on Sun, and it’s interesting what will come of this considering that it he was probably smoking and driving.

wasnt he arrested prior to training camp last year for beating his gf too? Sounds like an excellent person of character.

Holmes was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida on May 27, 2006 for disorderly conduct. Charges were subsequently dropped after Holmes paid a fine. Holmes was arrested for a second time on June 18, 2006 for domestic violence and assault in Columbus, Ohio.
On July 7, 2006, Holmes appeared in Franklin County Court in Columbus, Ohio for both a pre trial regarding the domestic case and hearing regarding the traffic ticket. He plead no contest to the traffic ticket and agreed to pay a fine. While Lashae Boone, the mother of Holmes’ daughter and the victim in the assault case, requested that the domestic violence and assault charges be dropped, the prosecutor refused. Boone and their daughter accompanied Holmes to court. The charges were later dropped.[7]
On October 23, 2008, Holmes was arrested and cited by officers while in posession of marijuana
