gloss black paint and a satin clear coat makes this flat black looking paint i love it! ---

Very few cars can pull it off besides the original Rat Rods. As far as how it’s made, satin paint and clear coat was how I’ve always heard it done. I’d be very curious to see this done with a “50$ paint job” method. If reflective colors can come out well with this method, satin paint should be a breeze. I don’t care man. It’s my beater. It can’t look worse than it does now with the peeling clear coat, and it looks like the retard who had it before me already tried to spray the hood once and did an awful job. It has some rust that needs to be fixed, but right now it’s mostly superficial. Anything I do to that car can only make it look better. :lol ---

No need to tape off the handles. The car is black, I’m okay with it staying black. Makes the hideous tan/black color scheme a little less horrifying. ---
