I always loved the way it looked, and if they shared the same plateform that would be a pretty sweet exterior swap to do. they need to put a ls7 in one and make it a SS model or something. That is what really needs to be done. Fuck the turbo 4 cylinders. Last time I checked 500hp and 26mpg wasn’t too bad ---

My cousin was thinkin of getting the Sky and doing the Mallet Conversion. I know that my dad will be getting the Sky since he wants a nice 2 seater roadster that my mom can drive, he doesnt trust her with a 400hp Vette. ---

Slightly longer from what I understand. The Vauxhall VX220 is the same car as the Opel Speedster. Both of which are mid-engined cars that are very similar to the Elise. The Sky and Solstice are the FR GM Kappa platform. They showed many variations on this platform in 2003, one of which was the Vauxhall VX Lightning. Many of the styling cues from that car were incorporated into the Saturn Sky. The Kappa chassis has nothing in common with the older Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220, which much to my chagrin were never available in the US. ---
