Time to make room for a new toy. We are selling our Scat 3 person Rescue Hovercraft. It’s a 12’ craft which is pretty rare and can carry 3 passengers. Most carry 2, where this has a side by side seat. Registers as a boat and insures as a special use vehicle. When we bought it 4 years ago, we repaired (upgraded) the hull, replaced most of the wiring, new skirts, new fan, and added new gauges. We went through the entire craft. We have gotten it up to 40/50mph at Gratwick Park in NT. We also have used it on water. We’ve had our fun, so now time for someone else. Would be great for someone with lots of land, wants to get into that backwoods area and fish, or someone that wants something completely different that you can use ALL YEAR ROUND. It also includes a trailer which we rebuilt and also added a power winch and a rack system to load it on and pull it up with the winch. Also includes a full cover for hovercraft. Selling it because we don’t have the time to use it much and we have another project that we will be buying soon. Prices on hovercrafts are all over the place. Similar option and size ones will range from $5,000 for a project to up to $20k. We are looking for $8,000 for the hovercraft, trailer, and all the parts that we have. My dad lives in NT and there’s no room in his yard, so we just trailer it to where we want to go. Figure this. Park trailer at Gratwick Park in NT. Play around on grass. Jump into the River and head over to Niawanda Park or even Grand Island. Head back to Gratwick and load it back up on trailer. ---

Have you contacted any of the local police/fire agencies to see if they’d be interested in it? Tonawanda Police and Erie County Sheriff’s both have large on water presence and this is the perfect setup for dealing with thin ice rescues. ---
