I’m working on organizing an Out of the Darkness walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in honor of my father, who committed suicide last month. They ask for a scenic park-type area, at least 3-5 miles, with enough room for lots of walkers, as well as volunteers and bystanders. I can’t think of anything. Anyone got any ideas? Also, if anyone is interested in helping out organizing, or having their company sponsor it, let me know. I’d greatly appreciate all the help I can get. ~Erica~ ---

just go to a town out of the city and meet at the center of town. i’ve done plenty of these walks… or walk around a college campus. ---

Yea it’s been tough… especially since I’m the legal next of kin. It seems like all I’ve done is legal shit for the past month, and haven’t even sat down and really thought about it. The only thing that’s gotten me through is knowing he’s happier now. And doing this walk makes me feel like he’s here watching me 🙂
