# Scion Vs. RSX

Scions have 40 less horsepower but 20 more lbs of torque and weigh 60 pounds more than RSXs.
Which car is a better performer?

if its between an rsx-s and a tc, i would by far take the rsx-s over the tc. the tc is the next grand am

I can’t say for sure which one, but judging from the specs. I would say the RSX-S. Its got a 6 speed close-ratio gear box. I guess gearing wise +1 for the RSX.

RSX Type-S trannies are the shit!! This coming from a tC owner!! I’d say it all depends on what your doing with the car. I don’t plan on modding my tC and it was a little cheaper then the RSX so thats why I bought the tC.

the Tc has good get up and go, but i hear the top end sucks complete balls. its still a good deal bang for buck, but the rsx-s is just so much hotter and everything

Other than very high end manual transmissions, ie. porsche, honda’s transmissions have the best feel by far out of anything I’ve ever driven. I really do miss the feel of the shifter in my old car.

your comparing a car that costs like $8k more. id hope its faster. the tC runs about a 15.7 1/4 mile stock…and maybe a bit quicker if you replace the slippery all seasons with something that has some kind of traction. the tC has a close ratio gear box as well…its just missing the overdrive (6th gear). and yes the top end sucks balls, you can really tell how porky the car is when you get going that fast. but i could bolt on a turbo, run mild boost, spank any stock type s, and still have spent less that they did for the acura.
