# Screw Hampton!!!

I had the Prizm sold. $1800. It was gone TOMORROW! Tonight I hit a pothole near Wildwood Country Club and folded a Borbet like a taco…:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
I pulled into the Hemlocks and threw on a steel wheel that was in my trunk (luckily I bought those ones off of PaNX). As I was changing the tire, I noticed that my strut was fucked up…:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
FUCK!!!
So, I don’t know what I’m going to do… I’m sure the guy won’t want it now… at least not for anywhere near $1800. The guy I’m buying the Swift GTI off of said he might be interested in a trade (he actually has three Prizms in his yard… He’s an old Toyota head), but I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to know what he’s decided.
My other option is to fix up the Prizm, but then I’ll have way too much money into it for it to be worth selling…☹
I’ll put up pics tomorrow… This fucking blows.

a rim, tire, and strut? that’s going to be a few hundred… it’s not really worth it, unless i was getting more than $1800 out of the car.

1. 135k miles. 1600cc, 5spd.
including Pioneer CD player, new Kenwood speakers, new Sumitomo tires, 14" Borbet wheels, new front brakes, new inspection + emissions…
and the slut bar and blue headlights…🤣
if it wasn’t a big four door, i’d keep it… it’s as predictable as the sunrise… but I want something smaller and quicker…hence buying the Swift GTI

“bump”?!? have you seen some of the potholes around here? if it bent my rim that bad, tax dollars definitely should’ve had that thing filled… ESPECIALLY in an area of the county that gets the living fuck taxed out of it like the North Hills does.

First off, potholes are a fact of life in PA. Get used to it.
Second, if you knew the car was already considered sold, then why would you drive it? You were just asking for something like this to happen.

I got them used off of a friend for $100 because it was cheaper than putting tires on the stock steelies :tounge:

Why not? It’s as fast as a 2.slow, but it breaks less often…😃

Prizm & 2.slow Jetta? These are all stock numbers:
_Prizm_
105hp, 117ft/lb, 2359lb
_Jetta 2.slow_
115hp, 122ft/lb, 2657lb
that looks pretty equal to me…then, here’s some times…
Prizm - 10.2 (0-60) 17.6 (1/4 mile)
Jetta - 10.1(0-60) 17.6 (1/4 mile)
again, pretty equally pathetic…
