# SD card not working

I got a SD card from best buy and when I go to plug it into my computer, it does nothing. My computer won’t read it at all. But If I go through my camera it works fine. Is this thing defective?

If it works on the camera, I’d be apt to blame a driver issue on the pc.

Well after talking to sandisk the new SDHC cards can only be read on computers 2008 or newer. They said to contact the manufacturer about a firmware update. So I contacted HP and they told me to buy a new tower. lol Yea ok buddy. Thanks

This is through an SD slot on the computer? or on a printer attached to the computer?
