WOW …
For those in the black here … Jay (BDR LT1)'s mother and step father were former owners of Tsunami on Kenmore ave … but after the october storm and being without power for over a week there really ended that place … so they sold it to some friends … and moved on …
fast forward a year or soo … and his parents started getting a sushi bar going … they got a killer spot on main street right next to Advantage …
just a nice quiet sushi bar …food is great,service is great …
a month or so ago they opened up their newest spot … Sea Bar City … located on Ellicott right next to the washington market …
City has a smaller menu … but still amazing
things you must try if ya go to either one …
Beef on Weck roll … Simply amazing … taste just like it’s name
Fish Taco’s … OMFG … unreal
new items or special’s every other day …
Fish is fresh every day or 2 …
keep an eye out for the Kobe beef when they have it … a must try …
Prices are normal with the sushi biz … rolls start at like $6
booze selection is great … less at the City location … but just as good

this is awesome to hear, especially with the way the economy and middle-ground sit down restaurants have been doing.

I like Sea Bar. I’ll have to check out the city location.
