Hi Guys, for the past couples months off and on I wasnt able to go into TMEC site… Anyways I wanted to do my Seafoam by the weekend before an oil change but I need some pointers where the PCV or vacuum lines are so I can dump some seafoam into that as well… If anyone has a pic or anything to display what hose I need to use for the Seafoam or if someone wants to do it for me… let me know… i’ve poured a bottle into the tank and re-fuled… i’ll pour some into my oil during the weekend when I can find a vacuum line to use… i’ve found a small hose, near the throttle body when I disconnect it runs rough and tries to die on me… is that the hose I need to dunk into seafoam by any chance? ---

yeah I believe you found the right hose, it’s right in front of the steering wheel kind of, the engine will falter when you put seafoam in it. I wouldn’t suggest “dunking” the hose by any means, that will stall the car. You need to just barely touch the liquid and it gets vacuumed up. There has to be air still going through the hose though, it shouldn’t be clogged with seafoam ---

so its the tiny house infront of the throttle body… or is it a hose near the firewall connecting to the brake booster which seems larger in diameter ---

… There’s a thread on this in here if you just search, but it is _ANY_ vacuum hose. XuperXero explains a few details on how he’s done it. Pull off the brake booster hose and that will work just fine. Be sure to depress the throttle linkage or the car will die when you put in the seafoam. It might even die when you pull off the vacuum hose, so make sure you keep the car idling fairly high. Try to maintain the idle at 2-3G. You can also just pull off the air filter and spray it directly into the intake while the car is running, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for fear of damaging the thin wire MAF. You may want to read the info on the bottle, but Seafoam can be put in your gas, intake and oil. Some even put it in other places like transmission, power steering, differential, coolant. I wouldn’t recommend you put it in your brakes. For that just flush the system and re-bleed it with new fluid. Parts that are clogged should be replaced for safety concerns. ---
