> WOW! Sear’s is responsible for all damages… Plus the towing! That is a Krazy story.
>
> Some serious drama there. It would be very hard for anyone to keep their cool in this situation. I would be hella pissed! **I would have asked the cop to test drive the car and tell me what his impression of the brakes is!..** lol

> They should also owe him restitutions for his time. Thats a huge inconvenience.

> Customer service these days!!! IT BLOWS… It’s all about upselling & parts changing. They are all flat-rate technicians. Don’t send your mama or grandmother there. GEEZ

> Post up some pics of the car & door!!!

Thats what I said! :rofl Put the tech that fucked up the car in the pass. side, cop can stand at the door, and I will drive it in the parking lot towards their door and stop without hitting it! LOL

Like 2ManyCamaros said, that could be what they did. compressing the piston in the caliper(s) and not pumping the pedal. IF that was the case, the work order was NEVER signed to lay a wrench on the car, other than to change the battery. You dont need to remove the caliper to check brakes, hell you dont really need to remove the wheel most of the time! If they admit to the above, not only does it express their guilt, but its illegal to remove any component on a vehicle unless specified in the SIGNED work order. I can sort of see removing something for “inspecting/troubleshooting”, like pulling the dip stick to check oil, but removing a caliper and compressing the piston is NOT something I could consider, inspecting/troubleshooting. I consider it retarded.

Scratches to the bumper, hood, fender etc. No pics, sorry. Door it mangled he said!
