just wondering if anybody knows of any good aftermarket seats that will fit nicely in s13, i bought a parts car and it had an apc seat but its way to big, and im pretty sure thats almost a standard size for “racing seats”
i know the gtr seats fit perfectly, but im slowly getting more interested in just clean black leather seats, with more support than stock

I also have a similar question. can anyone shed some light on the matter. I saw some racing seats advertised as low profile racing seats. also where can i get brackets?

You need sidemount seats, not bottom mount.

yonaka does not fit in S13 at all the seats almost hit each other in my car lol oh and my head was out the fun roof…i jsut stick to S14 seats my fav.

R-1 Racing seats are too wide for a 240sx, also too high. The side/low mounts wouldn’t fit due to the width. I just sold them to some guy in a Caprice and they fit snug ;x

I ran S14’s in my coupe and wasn’t happy with them at all. My driver side S13 leather seat has an adjustable lumbar support that I rely on for comfort…
Does anyone know if the S14 leather seats have the same mechanism?

My sparco bucket fits vurry nice… a little bit of room on each side.
Im not really a fan of the reclinable seats. Buckets are pretty comfortable and are usually smaller and fit better.
I also have a passanger GTR seat and it fits wicked as well. For a nice clean look a couple of GTR seats is amazing in a clean s13.

i’m 6’7 and i am afraid to switch to anything other than stock because stock barely fits me. so any help would be amazing. thanks in advance.

I ride in a Bride Brix 2. Fits awesome, and there’s tons of headroom. I’m 6’, my brother is 6’4, and we both fit in it fine.
Sits a good few inches lower than stock.

im 6’4" and 280lbs , i have a set of tenzo r’s in my car and they fit quite well i have no issues. i have sold the seat but still have the rails

I have a set of alpha’s but no brackets to put them in…i’ve test fit them in the car, and it looks like they fit. I just hope they do fit when the brackets are on there.

Did everyone completely miss this? Everything else is nearly a non-factor. If the seat is a bottom mount type, then the mount is underneath it, taking up a lot of space, and causing it to sit HIGH. If it’s the sidemount type, there’s almost nothing under the seat, and you can have it really LOW. It’s pretty easy to tell by looking at the seat what type it is, or if you’re buying it online, it should say in the product page.
From Sparco, the Sprint and Corsa, EVO 2 are sidemount, prolly some other ones too. Check out the manufacturer’s page for whatever you buy, and please don’t buy no-name seats, they’re not safe.
