# selecting hood for f-body need opinions

Last year at the end of the season my hood flew up on me. took out my windshield and did some serious damage to my hood, it is pretty tweaked and fitment is extremly poor at this point. I bought the car with a ss style hood on it, which i am a pretty big fan of but it is also very common, and im debating on switching it up. I absoutly hate the stock hoods on this generation camaro, just absoutly nothing going on with it just flat out boring in my opinion so that is out of the question. I also have the ram air intake setup so i do not believe a stock hood would clear my intake? Here is the car as it sits now.
Open to anything really, but here are some that i cant decide between. I feel like a woman, I just cannot decide, been looking around for the last week and want to pull the trigger shortly. Just give me your opinions, will be grately appreciated.

ws6 style, i really like it on a few cars, but not all of them. not sure if i would be able to pull it off. but if i knew i could i would deffinitly do it, if it wasnt too poser like?

I would do the SS hood like you have or the harwood. The last hood you posted looks absurd and I would probably find your car and smash it with a hammer if you bought it.

Mine is the harwood . Fits great and has enough meet under it to hog out and make the intake work

:crackupthats how i figured most people would feel. and i do for the most part. the bumper is fugly on that car, but a part of me has always wanted a ws6…i think that why i like that hood, but in realitly that style belong on a ws6 and only a ws6

I know this.
Im saying it was ugly on that car, and would be even uglier on a lt1 style because the lt1 style didnt have the hood curves like the ls.

ss or ultra z hood, but sisnce its not a ss and people may think ur poser-ish(which i dont! im just sayn) i think an ulta z hood would be very fitting!

I had a turbonetics ball bearing T72 on 15psi on it.

how whooped is the hood? Any pics of it? if you wanted to get rid of it free/cheap let me know. if its totally shot, I would be interested in the center SS cowl section to custom fab something. I like stashing junk in my shop. lol
Also if you want to have it painted, I can shoot it for ya when you get a replacement and work something out that way too.

I will get pictures of the damages tomorrow, might work something out like that if you can pm me your email or cell number so i can send pics tomorrow.
